Abby Jo Fitz Clark

Abby Jo Fitz Clark, age 81, died Friday due to heart failure. She was a life resident of Canton, 1954 graduate of Lehman High School, 1958 graduate of The Ohio State University and a retired teacher from the Canton City Schools. Abby was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Atwood Yacht Club, Canton Woman's Club and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Stark County. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert H. Clark, daughters, Jody "JC" Ryder of San Diego, California and Kelly (William) Billotte of Vienna, Virginia, Robert H. "Tad" Clark II of the home, grandson, Guyton Robert Billotte, sisters, Darla Frederick of Canton and Georgie Graham of Florida, brother, Dr. G. Robert (Debbie) Fitz of North Canton, four nieces and four nephews. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Reverend David L. de Vries officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canton Woman's Club or the Canton Lehman High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
