Alan J. Castro

Alan J. Castro went to be with the lord on Sunday, January 17th . He was born on May 14th, 1977 and was the 8th child of 13 kids to Maria and the late Antonio Castro. Alan was loved by all for his infectious smile and ability to make those around him laugh. He worked as a Crew Leader at Freshmark Cold storage and was known as Big Al. He had a love for cooking, playing the harmonica, singing karaoke and spending time with family especially his grand babies. Alan had the biggest heart you can have if he saw someone was in need there is no question if he'd help. No matter his situation he always gave to those who were in need. Unfortunately, Alan was diagnosed with a rare cancer in August of 2020. With his family as his reason to live he fought courageously to the end but sadly lost the battle this past Sunday. Alan was a wonderful Husband, Father and grandfather. He is survived by the love of his life, Macey Lin and their five beautiful kids Alanna(Seth), Kamarin(Mike), Aaron, Kayana, Macin and his three beautiful grandkids Asher, Lei'anna and Tasi who he loved beyond measure. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Antonio, James, Norma, Sara, Andrew, Arthur, Arlene, Michelle, Marcia, Alvin, Michael and Aileen and their families.
