Alberta Jaye Spencer

Alberta Jaye Spencer 88, of Canton, Ohio, was born on October 8, 1937. She passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with her three loving daughters by her side whom she always referred to as her 3 angels; Mary Graybill (Steven), Annie Garrison ( life partner, Lorie Corrigan), and Peggie Graybill (Steve Critean).

Alberta was an amazing mom and a very proud grandmother to: Brandy (Zach), Steve II, Amy (Bobby), Derrick, and Jered. Alberta also got to enjoy seven great-grandkids, Tori, Destinee, Domonick, Landen, Cameron, Gaven and Haili. But the icing on the cake was that she had the extraordinary honor of being able to welcome her three great-great-grandchildren, Cami, Rosie and baby Bray.

Alberta was survived by her brother, John Kalil; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Alberta enjoyed many things in life. She was a humble, kind, loving and giving person who cherished her family above all. Her greatest joy was spending time with her three girls. She loved Jesus, people watching, talking, to everyone and especially listening to other people's life stories.

She was a devout Christian. She was the perfect confidant because if you told her a secret, it went to Heaven with her.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Freda Mary and Charles Kalil; grandson,

Marvin R Graybill II; her three siblings, Rosemary, Helen, and Glenn; and niece, Freda K Smith.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM, Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton. A service honoring her life will follow at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Gammill will officiate. Burial will take place immediately afterward at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Canton.
