Almeda K. Goodson

Almeda K. Goodson, age 89, died Tuesday. Born in Lumberport, West Virginia she lived in Canton most of her life and was retired from Aultman Hospital. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and was an avid fan of crocheting. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Goodson. Survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Joseph) Barnett, son, Daniel (Bonnie) Goodson, granddaughter, Siarra Goodson, step grandchildren, Ashlie, Melissa, Kalei and Samantha, sister, Edith Alvarez and brother, Victor Arnet. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Newcomer officiating. Private burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
