Amy L. Sturm

Amy Lynn Sturm, 50, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 10. Born at Ellsworth Air Force Base, in SD, Amy was a graduate from Glen Oak High School and Humana Institute nursing school in San Antonio, TX. She spent much of her career serving patients in the Canton vicinity. She was passionate about nursing, possessed a great laugh and a wicked sense of humor. The daughter of Lynn Sturm of Canton and Richard Sturm (deceased), Amy is survived by her daughter, Pvt. 1st Class Madison Sturm-Tamez; her son, Robbie Sturm-Tamez (Kiera) of PA; grandson, Niko Sturm-Tamez; two sisters, Lauren Schweizer (Brian) of Canton and Jill Marley (Mike) of Maiden, NC, plus nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, Amy is predeceased by grandparents John and Virginia Haggarty and Bill and Marg Schmader. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Ave. N.W., Canton 44703. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions CommQuest.
