With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Anna M. Brothers, 90, on August 3, 2026.

Born on August 14th, 1935 in Canton Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Bonifacio Papi and Mary (Palumbo) Papi.

A devoted nurse throughout her career, she dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and kindness. She loved her family deeply and cherished her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

She will be remembered for her caring heart, unwavering generosity, strength, and the profound impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love, guidance, and example will continue to live on in the lives she touched.

Proceeded in death by her husband, William Brothers. She is survived by her loving sister, Rosemary Renier; her cherished nieces and nephew Renee Smith, Lisa Renier and John Renier; adored great-nephews, Nick (Michelle) Smith and Jacob Smith; dear nephews, James Miller, Richard Miller, and Steve Miller; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She held a special place in her heart for her great-great-nieces, Claire and Audrey, whose visits and laughter brought her tremendous joy.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Lamielle Funeral Home. A prayer service officiated by Father Brian Smith will conclude the visitation. Those wishing to attend the interment are invited to gather at North Lawn cemetery immediately following.
