Annabelle (Ann) H. Marshall Mark, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 with loving family and staff from Canton Christian Home around her. Her death was due to age related illnesses. She had resided at Canton Christian Home since 2012 first in Assisted Living then this past year in nursing care.
Annabelle was born December 2, 1924 in Canton, Ohio to the late Helen (Lab) and Asa Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Mark in 1980, brother Richard (Dickie), sister, Laura Stark and step daughter, Judy Mark
She is survived by her daughter Sue (Bob) Bogdanovich of San Pedro, California, step daughter, Robyn McDannell of Canton; sisters, Kathryn vanWinkle of Seattle, Washington, Eileen Paumier of Canton, Marjorie (John) Byder of North Canton along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Annabelle graduated from McKinley High School in 1942. She worked at Timken Roller Bearing Company briefly then worked at Kempthorn Motors as a cashier where she became part of their family for 36 years. It was here she met Earl who she married in 1957. She retired from Kempthorn Motors in 1987 after 36 years of service.
She was a loving mother, beloved sister and a very special Aunt Annabelle to the extended family.
She enjoyed bowling, traveling, reading, playing cards, especially being with family and her cookies and Heggy's candy. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Cleveland Ave NW on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00am with Monsignor Gaetano officiating. There will be no calling hours. A private burial service will be at Sunset Hill Burial Park following Mass.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Canton Christian Home for their care, support and compassion for Annabelle over the many years during her good times and not so good. Our appreciation also to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospice for their services in keeping her comfortable during her last few days. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Canton Christian Home Benevolent Fund.
