Anthony J. "Tony" Condello, age 93, died Saturday. He was a life resident of Canton, 1941 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, retired from the Ford Motor Company, member of American Legion Post 436 and a World War II Army veteran who participated in the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Survived by his wife, Betty E. (Hane) Condello of the home, daughter, Sonna (Gary) Hosta of Arizona, step-children, Debra (Don) Flowers of North Canton, Dan (Tina) Fisher of California and Diane (Jeff) Harwood of Canton, daughter-in-law, Sandy Condello of California, grandchildren, Trevor and Casey Hosta, Tiffany and Tony Condello, Tonia Zito, Troy Milbrodt, Scott, Steven and Sam Fisher, Serena Robertson and Christian, Sam, Jack and Olivia Harwood, five great-grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Gerry Condello, son, Dana Condello, parents, Michelangelo and Rose Condello, sisters, Mary Cirone and Carmelina "Babe" Pass and brothers, Patrick and Nicholas Condello. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
