Barbara J. Temple

Barbara J. Temple, 72, died Tuesday after a short battle with cancer. She was a life resident of Canton, 1968 graduate of Central Catholic High School, graduate of Kent State University, earned a masters from Malone University and was retired from Oriana House and was currently working part time at Summit Psychological Associates. Survived by her daughters, Yolanda Arkwright and Cecelia "Candy" Green, son, Daniel (Monica) Shavers, grandchildren, Samantha (Robert) Allison, Matthew Shavers, Laina (Austin) Friedrichsen, Noah Arkwright, Benjamin Arkwright, Alexia Green, Sarah Arkwright, Anthony Shavers and Jacob Arkwright. Great granddaughter, Laila and sister, Mary Zeitz. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Humphrey and a brother, Ralph "Bill" Bordner. Friends may call Saturday from 4-6 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with private burial in Saint John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
