Betty Jane (Anthony) Sullivan

Betty Jane (Anthony) Sullivan, a lifelong Canton, OH native, passed away on June 26, 2017. A 1943 graduate of McKinney High School, Logan Basic Radiology 1944 and Walsh College 1972. Betty, a retired teacher from St. Michael's Parish after 25 years of service, was voracious reader and with her late husband, Bob an active player in the Grasshopper golf league. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Sullivan, Betty was the loving mother of son, Bob,(Kimberlee Forbes), Cuyahoga Falls, OH; daughters Cary Ann Sullivan, Howland OH; and Dinah (Michael) Peddicord, North Canton, OH; grandmother to Zach Sullivan, University Heights, OH; Aby Sullivan, Chicago, IL; Jessie Peddicord, Dallas, TX; Samantha Peddicord, Cleveland, OH; and Alyssa Peddicord, Columbus, OH. The family would like to thank Betty's caregivers, Mary Chumo, and Donna Paul for all their loving care, and to Mercy Hospice, especially Deb Stires and Angela Simms. Cremation has taken place and family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Av, NW, Canton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
