Brenda lived a life defined by love, generosity, and devotion to her family.
Brenda Kaye Wallace, age 86, of Canton, Ohio, passed away quietly the afternoon of September 7, 2026. Born on November 3, 1939, in Cambridge, Ohio, Brenda lived a life defined by love, generosity, and devotion to her family.
Throughout her career at Dollar Bank, she served as a switchboard operator, warmly greeting callers and assisting them with a friendly, helpful voice before retiring after years of dedicated service.
She was known for her kind heart, selfless spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Family was everything to Brenda, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved and the love she shared will continue to unite those she held dear. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Wells; her beloved husband, Gary Wallace; and sister, Becky Wells.
Her legacy is found in the lives she touched and the countless acts of kindness she gave so freely.
She is lovingly survived by daughter, Mary Beth (Chris) Wisniewski; sons, Jeff and Steven Wallace; sisters, Patty Perry, Peggy Martin, and Betsy Bollen; and brother, Bill (Nancy) Wells. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Logan and Amanda (Ryan) Labriola; and treasured great-grandchildren, Arabella, Madilyn, and Lincoln.
The family will receive guests on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Reedurban Presbyterian Church, Canton, Ohio. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., with Jack Westfall officiating. Interment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Canton, Ohio.
