Carol D. Demeo

Carol D. DeMeo, of Canton, Ohio, passed away October 20, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born in Alliance, Ohio on February 27, 1943, to her late parents, Charles and Viola (Roudebush) Walter. Also preceding Carol in death were her brothers, Charles and James.

She retired from The Hoover Company with 27 years of exceptional service, was a member of the Eagles of Louisville, and VFW Post 44. Carol believed family was the foundation of her life and was grateful to share special times with those she loved most, knowing how blessed they were to have each other.

The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind for her husband of 36 years, Tony DeMeo; son, Brian (Mary) Russo; stepdaughters, Deborah DeMeo and Diane (Frank) Rossi; grandson, Brandon Russo; granddaughter, Kirsten Russo; sisters, Sandra Kuntz and Sharon (Louis) Scalati; and beloved family member, Angela Russo. God welcomes Carol in a special place, where she will be watching over each of us.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton. A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM, St. Michael the Archangel Church, Canton.
