Catherine "Kitty" (Goff) Seifert

Catherine "Kitty" (Goff) Seifert, age 96, died Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was born on October 10, 1924 in Canton, Ohio. Kitty was a 1942 graduate of Lehman High School, attended Kent State University, married Emil her husband at Saint Peter Catholic Church in 1948, was employed at Pioneer Foods from 1950-1974 until the plant closed and then became an auditor with the IRS from 1976-1990 when she retired. Preceded in death by her husband, Emil Seifert, parents, Liston and Nellie Goff, sisters, Lillian McMasters and Wilma Dennis and a brother, John Goff. Survived by her sister, Sally Critean of Paris, Ohio, brothers, Joe Goff of Lake Forest, California and Thomas Goff of Satellite Beach, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Monsignor James Clarke as celebrant. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
