Cecelia Mary Dietz

Cecelia Mary Dietz, age 67, died Friday of cancer. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, she had lived in Canton most of her life. Mary was a 1968 graduate of Glenwood High School and had worked for the Canton City Schools and retired from the Girl Scouts. She was a member of the McKinley Eagles. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Roy Dietz, daughters, Jessica (Jeffrey) Ricker and Aurie Ann (Brett) Kanode, son, Michael Dietz, grandchildren, Ava and Charlotte Dietz, Eleanor and Lillian Ricker and Mattie Mae and Paul Kanode, sisters, Annie (David) Primo and Christine Pirolozzi and brothers, Joseph (Wendy) Davidson and Robert Davidson. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:30-1 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospice.
