Chancey C. Shawver, Jr.

Chancey C. Shawver, Jr., age 73, died Thursday after a five year battle with cancer. He was a life resident Canton, attended Canton South High School and was a retired bricklayer with Canton Local 6 and previous owner of C & M Masonry. Survived by his wife, Diane Shawver, daughter, Jody (Ron) Reed, son, Chancey C. (Lori) Shawver, III, step-daughters, Jessica (Charles) Foster and Erica (Jamie) Lasorella, six grandchildren, sisters, Vivian, Judy and Nancy and brother, Robert. Preceded in death by his parents, Chancey Shawver I and Martie Sherrard and brothers, Samuel and Michael. Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
