Craig S. Hildebrand

Craig S. Hildebrand, age 69, died Monday, October 31, 2016 after a long and happy life. He was a life resident of the Massillon/Canton area, 1965 graduate of Perry High School and a 1969 graduate of Kent State University. Craig retired in 1995 from his dream job at Fairless High School as a biology teacher after 26 years of service. Craig's passions in life were the Cleveland Indians, geology and learning new age technology. He was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Survived by two daughters, Tana Hildebrand of Columbus and Jenna (Bill) Miller of Canton, sister, Kris (John) Ziegler of Canton, brother, Howard (Diane) Hildebrand of Massillon, two nieces, Katie and Megan Ziegler and two nephews, John (Kelly) Ziegler and Nathan Hildebrand. Family and friends will meet on Friday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father G. David Weikart as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics.
