CYNTHIA JUNE STREB
Softly in the morning of December 30, 2022, Cynthia June Streb, 60, of
Massillon, Ohio, quietly left us all. She was born in Wadsworth, Ohio, June 3,
1962, to the late Willis and Helen (Love) Briggs and grew up in Sharon
Center, Ohio.
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend to many. Cynthia
loved her family with her whole heart, and they brought her much joy and
fulfillment. She formally worked for the city of Canton as a health educator.
Her zest for life and time spent with her family was easily seen in the sparkle
of her eyes. She loved all animals, especially collies and kitties.
Cynthia is survived by the love of her life, husband, Daniel, with whom she
was married to for 28 wonderful years. Together they lovingly raised their
children, Eric and Natalie, both of Massillon. Her children were the greatest
joy of her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Clare Briggs of Cleveland
and Diane Goodman of San Francisco; and many whose path she crossed
daily.
A Memorial Gathering will be held, Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 to
7:00 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, Ohio.
The family kindly suggests Memorial Contributions to: St. Jude Children's

"Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not here; I did not die."
