Daniel Alan Casto

Daniel Alan Casto went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, with his beloved daughter by his side. He was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia on December 13, 1956. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Oran and Louise (Gibson) Casto. Also preceding Daniel in death were his brothers, James, Edwin, and David Chandler; sisters, Drexie Pruett, and Helen Felton.

Cherishing the memories always are those who survive; daughter, Cassie (Tim) Johnstone; son, Jesse (Tiffany) Heckman; grandchildren, Tymothy (Rachel), Makala, Jordan, Isaiah, Hunter, Alyxandria, Emilee, Sean, Payton, Kaylynn, and Camryn; sister, Elaine Luckhardt;  brother, John (Jane) Coprio; and special brother, Scott (Angie) Hartenstein.

Daniel loved cars and anything with a motor. He was an extremely skilled mechanic and was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. Not just with their car, but in any way he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his cat, Tubby. He found peace living on his buddy, Greg's farm, where he enjoyed all the things he loved - cars, animals, nature, and the freedom to be a true free spirit.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Daniel's life at a Remembrance Service on Saturday April 19th from 3-5 pm, held at The Body of Christ Church,6555 Shepler Church Ave SW Navarre, OH 44662.
