DAVID HAROLD DAWSON

Lifelong resident, David Harold Dawson, passed away on September 14, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center at the age of 90. He was born November 22, 1933, to parents, Thomas and Helen (Rough) Dawson who preceded him in death; together with his wife, Jean Dawson; sisters, Betty Trout and June Pastor; brothers, Thomas and Earl Dawson.

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Shaffer) Meeran and Nancy (Dawson) Bloom; grandchildren, Jeremy (Megan), Jeremiah (Amy), and Nathaniel; and four great-grandchildren. His memory will forever be cherished.

David attended Canton South High School, Basilica of St. John the Baptist, and worked many years as a forklift driver for Republic Steel, before his retirement in 1986. He was devoted to his family.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, where the service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at North Canton Cemetery, North Canton, Ohio.
