David H. Jestel

David H. Jestel, age 86, died Friday. Born in Dover, he had lived in Massillon most of his life, 1950 graduate of Louisville High School, retired as Meat Manager at A & D Foodarama, member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church and was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly (Adams) Jestel, daughters, Kathy Krumm of Florida and Jill (Steve) Hendershot of Massillon, son, Tim (Susi) Jestel of Georgia, grandchildren, Jacob and Tommy Krumm, Mark and Sarah Jestel and Alexis and Zoe Hendershot and sister, Mary Alice Miller of Massillon. Preceded in death by a brother, Herb Jestel. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father G. David Weikart as celebrant. Private burial in Saint Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Honor Flight.
