David R. Kocur

David R. Kocur, age 84, died Sunday. Born in Canton he had lived in Springfield most of his life moving back to Canton in 2003. David was a 1951 graduate of Lehman High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a retired salesman/horticulturists for Berry Hill Nursery in Springfield and a member of the Lehman High School Alumni Association. Preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Kocur, parents, Joseph and Stella Kocur and brother-in-law, John Cauley. Survived by his sisters, Carol Cauley and Julie Holl both of Canton and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Burial will be in North Canton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace United Church of Christ.
