David J. Moegling

David J. Moegling, age 73, passed away peacefully on July 11 after a long illness. A graduate of Glenwood High School, he worked for many years at Auto Electric and at the Stark County Courthouse where he made many friends. He enjoyed frequent trips to Quonset Hut to visit his friend Mark, ice cream, and all Cleveland sports. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William P. and Grace P. Moegling; and brother, William F. Moegling. Survived by his sister, Anne Marie (Stanley) Foltz of North Canton; nieces, Renee Pilone (Billy Shepherd) and Amy Lynn (Robert) Storesina; two great nephews and one great niece. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canton Christian Home's Benevolent Fund.


Visitation will be 9:30am-10:30am on Thursday, July 24 at Lamiell Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am on Thursday, July 24 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Reverend Dr. David Misbrener and Reverend Joseph Witmer concelebrant. Attendees are encouraged to wear Guardians, Cavaliers, or Browns attire. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery.
