David Charles Poparad

David Charles Poparad, age 62, passed away suddenly on Tuesday Sept. 20th, 2016. He was the son of the late John and Olympia Poparad of Louisville, Ohio. David was a resident of Canton, Ohio the majority of his life. He was a graduate of Louisville High School and then attended Stark State Technical College earning a degree in Retail Marketing. He was employed a number of years for Republic Steel and recently was semi-retired working for Wal-Mart. Dave was an avid bass fisherman and golfer for many years. He also enjoyed reading, movies, and was a good dancer. He will be remembered by his family, relatives and friends for his quick smile and easy going nature. He is survived by his children, Jay Poparad and Monica (Christopher) Peters; grandchildren, Maxwell, Mason, and Elliott Peters; brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Poparad, Alan Poparad, Mark Poparad, sister, Sheila (Bill) Gasper; and special friend, June Spina. A private remembrance will be held by his family and close friends in memory of his passing.
