July 20, 1950 — April 14, 2022

Debra Diane Hill, 71 was born on July 20th 1950 in Canton Ohio, and passed away April 14th 2022 after battling cancer. Debbie was the daughter of Robert and Ruth Kohlmeyer, both of whom preceded her in death. Debbie was a devoted wife who was fortunate enough to find the love of her life at the early age of 18. Their nearly 53 years of marriage was blessed with three children who she loved deeply. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University. Yes, it was at the same time as the protesting. Which was before cell phones which as you can imagine Leonard was worried to say the least. She used her artistic giftings to serve the church and to create unique pieces for others. Her life as it will be remembered was marked by her love. Her love of God, her love of her husband, her love of her children and her love of her artistry. Debbie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leonard Hill, their three children Nathan Aaron (Jennifer Marie), Robyn Renee and Joshua Caleb (Shakema), and their grandchildren Natalie, Maizie, Jacob, Elijah, Annalise, and her two older sisters Crystal Fuciu, and Sherry Worth. Memorial service will be Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
