Denise Kay (Peacock) Decker

Denise Kay Decker, age 52, of Osnaburg Township, East Canton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly, in an auto accident, on February 13, 2023. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Denise was born on August 27, 1970 in Moline, Illinois to the late Donald F. Peacock, Jr. and Cathy A Gaug, both from Alliance. She was a 1988 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Kent State University. Denise and Robert met in Alliance, were married on September 2, 2002, and for 27 years, cherished their love and time together.

Denise worked at Giant Eagle for over 13 years. For the past 20 years she was the Payroll Supervisor (Division) for PCC Airfoils in Minerva. Although she was a dedicated employee, her true passion was traveling and camping in her RV with her husband Bob, her dogs, and her family. In addition, she loved being the organizer and planner for girls' nights, vacations, and their camping adventures.

Denise is survived by her husband, Robert W. Decker, II, and their two dogs Zaffira and Eva. She is also survived by her mother, Cathy A Gaug and step-father, Robert A Gaug; and many wonderful relatives and friends.

At her request, a cremation has taken place. Denise's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she loved and interacted with. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
