Donald Clark Nuosce, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, in Naples, Florida. Born on April 30, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, Don was the son of Dominic and Edna Nuosce. He lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to family, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep love for his passions.
Don married the love of his life, Mary C. Bernardon, on April 28, 1984, and together they shared 41 wonderful years filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering partnership.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Don wore many hats throughout his life. He was a successful business owner and real estate broker, and also ran a bar, restaurant, bakery, and wine store. In his career, he worked as a vacuum cleaner sales representative, a job that sparked his drive to build a life through hard work and perseverance. After moving to Florida, Don took great pride in his role as a school bus driver for 15 years, ensuring children got to school safely with his steady hand and warm smile.
He was a proud member of the North Canton Elks Lodge #2029 and the Marco Island Moose Lodge #1990, where he found community and friendship.
Don had a zest for life and a wide range of interests. He was an avid fisherman who found peace on the water, a black belt in Taekwondo who valued discipline and strength, and a loyal fan of Ohio State football—cheering on the Buckeyes with great enthusiasm every season.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Nuosce; his children Dana Nuosce Davis, Toni Lynn Nuosce, Krista Clark Nuosce Phillips (Brian), and Anthony Dominic Nuosce; and his cherished grandchildren, Cooper Henry Phillips, Ella Maureen Phillips, and Van Angelo Nuosce. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Richard Underation.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Edna Nuosce, and his sister, Donna Underation. Don's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His kindness, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and dedication to family will be remembered always.
