Donna M. Gallagher

Donna M. Gallagher, age 69, passed into Heaven on Saturday after a period of failing health. Life resident of the Canton/ North Canton area, 1965 graduate of Central Catholic High School, retired from the Timken Company, member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and a longtime supporter of animal rescue agencies. Preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Gallagher, parents, John and Marie Dougherty and brother, Patrick Dougherty. Survived by her sister, Rosemary Ritz of Canton and brothers, David (Donna) Dougherty of Akron, Daniel (Linda) Dougherty of Mims, Florida, Michael Dougherty of Navarre and John Dougherty of Canton. Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Green with Father David Durkee as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stark County Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
