DR. RICHARD F. WADE
   
  
Dr. Richard F. Wade D.V.M of Canton, Ohio, completed his earthly journey on August 23, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born in Canton, Ohio on July 28, 1952, to the late Richard and Betty (Chaboude) Wade.
   
  
A lifelong Canton resident, Richard met and married his best friend, biggest supporter, and love of his life, Deborah Vincent. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and earned his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from La Universita di Bologna, Italy. Together, they lived and were married in 1983 at the Santa Maria della Carita' Catholic Church, Bologna, Italy. Having shared 45 years of happiness, love, and commitment, they built a solid foundation, raising their daughters in a home filled with love and making a lifetime of memories. He was very devoted to his family and the time spent with them was priceless.
   
  
Richard's passion, and dedication for animals, led him to become owner and Veterinarian at Canton Veterinary Hospital. His love for his four-legged friends knew no bounds, and he was not just a healer, but a teacher and advocate for animal welfare. He gave comfort, healing, peace, and the bond shared between him and his patients was unbreakable. He was a compassionate man, who adored his staff and they loved him dearly.

After 33 years of dedication, compassion and love for his furry friends and their humans, Dr. Wade retired from Canton Veterinary Hospital in 2023, but loved it so much he continued to serve his loving pets under the new ownership at Humble Creatures Veterinary Clinic.
   
  
Cherishing Richard's memory always, are those who survive; his wife, Deborah; daughters, Elizabeth (Weston) Wade and Sarah Wade (Curtis DeLuia); sister, Darlene (Scott) Lewis; sisters-in-law, Judith Babik, Christine (Jim) Lesser; brother-in-law, William (Elaine) Vincent, and several loved nieces and nephews.
   
  
Preceding Richard's death; mother-in-law, Gertrude A. Vincent; brother-in-law, Robert Babik; sister-in-law, Denise Vincent Walls; and his nephew, Arthur Lewis,.
   
  
On a date to be announced, a Celebration of Life will be held to share memories, stories, to laugh, to cry and to remember. The family kindly suggests Memorial Contributions to either the "Stark County Humane Society" or the "Endowment Fund of Dr. Richard F. Wade" at Humble Creatures Veterinary Clinic, to help assist animals and their owners during times of need
   
  
Richard's Son-in-law, Weston and Curtis loved to ride their motorcycles together. These memories will never be forgotten.
