Edmund Albert Young

Edmund Albert Young departed this life to his final resting place on August 1, 2021 after an extended illness. Edmund was born to the late Agatha Middleton and Herman Young on January 28, 1937 in the country of Belize in Belize City. Edmund attended Westley Schools and in adulthood later migrated with his sweetheart Amelia to the United States in 1965. Edmund and Amelia settled in the state of New Jersey in Jersey City and married in 1976. In the City of Jersey Edmund and Amelia became entrepreneurs owning multiple laundromats, an apartment building, and a restaurant for several years before retiring and moving to the state of Texas; after the passing of his beloved wife Amelia, Edmund relocated to the state of Ohio where he lived out the last few years of his life. Edmund preceded in death by his parents Agatha Middleton and Herman Young, his brother Joel Arnold, his wife Amelia Olivia Young, and stepdaughter Anita Diaz. Edmund leaves behind his legacy and family of loved ones to include Jose Cruz (aka: Junior), Javier Young, Denise Colon, Shannon Smith and a host of additional extended family and friends. A graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery.
