ELEANOR A. (SCHOTT) TOUSSANT
   
  
Eleanor A. (Schott) Toussant, most recently of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on May 16, 2024, in Laguna Hills, California. She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 23, 1932, to Elmer and Anna (Kachler) Schott, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert J. Toussant in 2001 and sister, Catherine Horansky in 2017.
   
  
She was a 1950 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy. Sharing an incredible bond with her husband and children, she filled their lives with love, knew how to give the perfect advice, and was patient and understanding. She was a loyal employee with Canton Citizens Savings and Loan and always greeted everyone with a warm smile. She moved several times throughout her lifetime, living in Michigan, California, Arizona, and of course, Canton.
   
  
She is survived by her daughter, Julia Christy of California; son, Joseph Toussant of Tennessee; granddaughters, Leanne (Fred) Brummer and Marlee (Austin) Ayers; great-granddaughter, Lillian; sisters, Mary (Richard) Burrell of Canton, Christine Miller of Louisiana; brother, Charles Schott of Massillon; and many nieces and nephews.
   
  
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., on June 18, 2024, where family and friends are invited for visitation, one hour before Mass, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place privately, at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens.
   
  
The family kindly request memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Eleanor's memory.
