Elizabeth L. "Betty" Barley

Elizabeth L. "Betty" Barley, 89, died Tuesday following a brief illness. She was a life resident of Canton, 1950 graduate of McKinley High School and a member of Little Flower Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar and Rosary, Emergency Food Cupboard and Funeral Dinner Ministry. Survived by her husband of 69 years, Dale M. Barley, son, Larry (Laura) Barley of Troy, Ohio, daughter, Mary (Mike) McBride of New Albany, grandchildren, Kelley and Nicholas (Heather) Barley and Patrick McBride and a great granddaughter Layla Barley. Preceded in death by a brother, James Weeber. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk, D.Min. as celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Burial Park. Friends may call Friday from 4-6 at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital
