Ellen A. Hooper

Ellen A. Hooper, age 68, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 after complications from surgery. Born in Pueblo, Colorado she had lived in Canton most of her life. Ellen was a Vietnam War Navy veteran but most importantly she was a great mother. Survived by her sons, Houston (Sharon) Hooper and Heath (Jennifer) Hooper, grandchildren, Hayden and Gwyneth Hooper all of Canton, step-mother, Melba Davidson-Spiro of Oklahoma, sister, Jo Ana Davidson of Texas and brother, Rick Davidson of Indiana. Services will be Friday, September 14, 2018 at 5 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Private burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
