Elsie G. Pesquero "Teets"

83, of Canton, passed away on October 28th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose y Antonia Pesquero, and her dear sister, Maria Iborra. She is survived by brother-in-law, Antonio Iborra; nephews, JoseAntonio Iborra (ReGina), and David Iborra; grand niece, Razieme, and grand nephews, Arimis, Brenden, and Caleb.

Elsie graduated from Kent State University with Masters Degree in Education and was a lifelong, dedicated teacher of special education for Canton City Schools. After retirement, Elsie continued teaching children at Razi Preschool. Always proud of her Spanish heritage, she participated in the Spanish Women's Club and loved to travel to Mexico and Spain to visit with family and friends. Teets will always be remembered as a precursor to Amazon, routinely delivering needed and favored items to family members and friends. Ahead of her time, Elsie knew the importance of taking multiple photos, "in case it doesn't come out." Due to her persistence for capturing special occasions, the family will have photos to cherish for a lifetime.

Private memorial services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to improve the lives if individuals with disabilities as Elsie did for so much of her life.
