Eric M. Jones

Eric Michael Jones 02-12-1990 - 05-18-2021 Eric was born to Steffanie Renee Elmerick Dennison and Brad W. Jones in Canton, Ohio. He lived most of his life in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from Woodridge High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in May 2008. During his school years Eric participated in baseball and track and loved skiing, both snow skiing and water skiing. After high school most of his jobs were with various nurseries doing landscaping. Tragically, Eric lost his mother at an early age when he was 9 years old, at which time Eric went to live with his father, Brad Jones and stepmother Katie Jones. Eric was the joy and love of his grandparents, Ralph and Reggie Elmerick, he was more like a son to them then a grandson. Eric went on many vacations with them, Myrtle Beach, Florida, and Berlin, Germany to his visit his Uncle Christopher. What made Eric, was his heart of gold and his beaming smile. No matter how distressed life got for Eric at the time, he would always have a bright smile for everyone. He always thought of others rather than himself and always wanted to give you something to light up your day, to let you know how much he loved you. A blessed soul has been lost. Eric is preceded in death by his beloved mother Steffanie Renee Elmerick Dennison, whom he missed tremendously his entire life. Also, his paternal grandfather William Jones. He is survived by his father Brad W. Jones and stepmother Katie Jones; his stepfather David Dennison and Mishal Dennison; his grandparents Ralph and Regina Elmerick, and paternal grandmother Patricia Jones. Also, his beloved uncle Christopher M. (Stephanie) Elmerick, Amanda (Kyle) Cram, Matthew (Trisha) Jones, Whitney Jones. His beloved siblings, Cole Dennison and Alexis Dennison, and McKenna Jones, Connor Jones and Kai Jones and step sibling, Khara Dennison. Eric's cousins Grace, Caleb, and Hanna Elmerick. Eric's heritage continues with the birth of his beautiful twin daughters who were born to Chelsea Early and Eric on July 31 of 2020, London and Paris Jones. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations in memory of Eric Jones, to Refuge of Hope or Akron Children's Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Funeral service will be in the chapel at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Casual dress is requested. Words cannot express our family's loss at this time. A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best.
