Ernest "Bro. J" Jarvis

Ernest D. Jarvis (Bro. J) 1939-2021 Bro. J's journey in this world is complete and will now continue in the Spiritual World at the age of 82. Born in Chloe, WV., Ernest was the eldest of four boys born to Iris and Ernest Jarvis and lived most of his adult life in Canton. Bro J loved his family, people, motorcycles, lifting weights, a good conversation, and his dog, Star. A laborer by trade, he was a Gold Card holder of Local 1015. Survived by his siblings: Bob Jarvis, Pam Jarvis, Mike and Jimmy Haddox; Children: Kelly Plottner, Tami Smith and Daryl Jarvis as well as five beloved Grandchildren: Samantha, Myranda, Jordan, Daphne, and Rachel and many nieces and nephews. Join us for a celebration of life on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
