Ethel P. (Ford) Stout, age 85, died Wednesday after a brief illness. She was a life resident of the Canton, 1948 graduate of Lincoln High School, had worked at W.T. Grant Company and retired from Stambaugh's. Ethel enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and bingo. Survived by a sons, Randy (Joanne) Stout of North Canton and David (Nicole) Stout of Greenville, Ohio, grandchildren, Jason (Aleisha), Chelsea, Elizabeth and Bailey Stout, sisters-in-law, Sandra (Dennis) Bergert and Alveta Stout and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son, Michael Stout, sisters, Mary Kauth, Gladys Dolph and Mildred Bennett and brothers, James Ford and Earl Rue Jr. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.
