Eva Nell Bradley

November 19, 1937 — April 6, 2022

Eva Nell Bradley was born to George Thompson and Gertrude (Taylor) Thompson-Lampton, on November 19, 1937, in Taylor Hill, Mississippi. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where she later met her husband, Fredrick D. Bradley. They married on March 10, 1964, in Switzerland. Throughout her career, she worked various jobs in Accounting for the City of Canton, the Canton Urban League, the Northeast Community Center, and GE Capital. She also volunteered at the American Cancer Society and the Stark County District Library. She was an active member at Mount Calvary Second Baptist Church. Eva loved her family and was always there to offer support and encouragement. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, George Thompson and Gertrude (Taylor) Thompson-Lampton, her husband, Fredrick D. Bradley, her sister, Grace DuBose, and her beloved grandson, Jae'Len McLaughlin. Survived by her beloved daughter, Eleena Bradley of Canton, Ohio, step-daughter, Kimberly Davis, and precious grand-daughter, Jae'Nya Davis of Columbus, Ohio, sister, Jo Lee Blockson, of Chicago, Illinois, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. As per Eva's request, there will be no visitation or service. She has been cremated and will be laid to rest with her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Seville, Ohio. Services are entrusted to Lamiell Funeral Home.
