Florence (Flo) Catherine Parke

Florence (Flo) Catherine Parke, born October 9, 1928, in Bristolville, Ohio, passed away April 9, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Parke; parents, Louis and Mary (Mitrovich) Palich; brothers, Louis, George, William, and Cyril Palich, Martin, Thomas, and Joseph Thomas; grandson, David Cabobianco; and great-granddaughter, Julia Lokie.

Flo is survived by her children, Karen (Sam) Swinehart, Rick (Anita) Parke, Rita (Tim) Oravitz, and Brenda Parke; grandchildren, Melanie (Chris) Ensley, Tiffany (Mike) Lokie, Ryan (Tracy) Parke, Seth (Kelly) Capobianco, Brian Capobiano, Michael (Ashley) Oravitz, Alex (Tara) Oravitz, Anthony (Jimie) Swinehart; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Wanda Palich and Jan Palich; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was a long-time volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph’s Care Center, Mercy Medical Center, Aultman Hospital, and Aultman Woodlawn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church (St. Francis of Assisi Parish), Canton, with Father Kevin Peters presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, North Canton.

In lieu of flowers, Flo requested Memorial Donations may be made to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church (St. Francis of Assisi Parish) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
