FRANK J. BORS, III

Frank J. Bors III, born June 5, 1947, in Canton, Ohio passed away at Altercare of Louisville, on Tuesday November 14, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Charlene "Peach" Bors; father and mother, Frank and Emma Bors. Survived by adult children, Molly (Josh) Whitehead of Minerva, Ohio, and Andrew (Margot) Bors of Bolivar, Ohio; grandsons, Joseph, Maxwell, and Kaiden and one granddaughter on the way; sister, Holly Lucero of San Luis Obispo, California; brother, Freddie (Rebecca "Becky") Bors of Canton, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Frank graduated from Canton McKinley High School and was a proud Bulldog. He went on to graduate from Youngstown State University with a degree in Business. A lifelong Canton boy, his greatest joys in life were always his family, followed closely by anything sports related. Frank could always be found on the weekends and evenings watching his Ohio sports teams, especially his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. Those who knew Frank lovingly referred to him as Big Frankie, for not just being large in stature, but also having a larger-than-life personality.

Friends may call Friday, December 1, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me has been set up to help with funeral costs and any excess will be donated to Youngstown State's new student center.
