Gale Miriam Jones

Gale Miriam Jones, age 80, died Monday. Born in Youngstown, she had lived in Canton since 1984 and was a 1954 graduate of Wilson High School. She was a retired childcare teacher at Grace Brethren Church and a member of First Friends Church of Canton. Survived by her husband of 62 Years, Dale M. Jones; son, Attorney Douglas D. Jones (Becky Jane) of Canton, daughter, Becky Jones-Sadosky (Tony) of Sterling Heights, Michigan, eight grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Meredith Jones-Newhouse (Matthew), Leslie Jones, Sarah Jones-Hiller (Alan), Katherine Jones-Wood (Brandon), Deborah Gale Sadosky-Kies (Kevin) and Anthony and Peter Sadosky, and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son David Merrill Jones. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at First Friends Church of Canton with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 1-2 p.m. at First Friends Church of Canton. Private entombment in North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Friends Church of Canton.
