Gene Barber

Gene Barber, age 84, died Monday. Born in Steubenville, he lived in Canton most of his life, Gene attended McKinley High School, was retired from the construction industry, member of Alcoholic Anonymous and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Naomi (Cromi) Barber. Survived by a son, David A. Barber. Friends may call Monday from 1-2p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 2 p.m. with Monsignor James Clarke officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Canton Meals on Wheels.
