It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George Richard "Dick" Burrell, Jr. passed away March 5, 2025 at Windsor Nursing Home. He was 86. A lifelong Canton, Ohio resident, he was born on July 25, 1938, to George and Grace (Roth) Burrell who precede him in death. Together with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Thomas Burrell and nephew, John Robert Burrell, Jr.
   
  
Dick, as he was fondly known to everyone was a 1956 graduate of Lehman High School and retired from the Standard Plumbing and Heating company in 1998, after 34 years of exceptional service. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
   
  
Cherishing Dick's memory always are those who survive; his wife of 58 years, Mary (Schott) Burrell; sister-in-law, Marsha Burrell; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as many valued friends and neighbors.
   
  
Family will receive guests on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Little Flower Parish, 2040 Diamond Street, NE, Canton, Ohio 44721, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Father Daniel Finnerty will serve as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton.
   
  
Memorial Contributions may be made in Dick's name to Lehman Alumni Association, P.O. Box 8175, Canton, Ohio 44711; Little Flower Catholic Parish; or a charity of your choice.
