GEORGE PATRICK KELLEY


Peacefully on April 29, 2024, George Patrick Kelley passed away at the age of 73. He was born in Portland, Oregon on September 21, 1950, to his late parents, George E. Kelley and Mary A. Kelley (Fredin). In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, M. Colleen Kempf and Frances Wilson.


Pat worked as a reporter for the Canton Repository. He had a gregarious personality and loved to mingle with others, no matter the occasion. He served in the United States Army. Pat was a man with a big heart.


Holding Pat's memory close to their hearts are those who survive; his wife, Deborah Kelley; daughters, Kyra Kelley, Noelle Smith; sons, Colin Kelley and Aidan Kelley; and grandson, Milo Kelley Buck.


The family will receive guests on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, with the service immediately following at the funeral home, where Military Honors will be presented.


Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Hunger Task Force.
