George R. Stoffer

George R. Stoffer, 78, of North Canton passed away June 10, 2016 after a long illness. Born Sept. 5, 1937, in Santa Monica, California, to the late Robert R. and Alice Jane (Belden) Stoffer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years whom he married April 12, 1958, Karin, two sons- George R., Jr. (Annette) of Oregon, and Michael P., of Canton, two grandchildren, Abby and Steve Stoffer, of Canton and siblings Diana (Robert) Bethel and David (Linda) Stoffer of Canton, and John (Nikki) Stoffer of East Sparta. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church (North Canton) for a Mass of Christian Burial with Monsignor James Clarke as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
