George A. Washinton

George A. Washington, 73 passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020, after a brief illness. Born in Canton, Ohio, January 26, 1947, son to late Frank and Corean (Stubbs) Washington. George was a 1965 Graduate of McKinley High School and served in the U.S. army during the Vietnam War and honorably discharged in 1968. He was also retired from J&L Specialty Steel. He is proceeded in death by his parents, daughter Gina, sister Lena Calhoun and brother James Washington. He is survived by his seven children, Enos, Kimberly, Rena, ReCarla, Jonathan, Candice and Loretta Washington. He is also survived by sisters Bobbie Cox, Frankey Campbell, Geraldine Robinson, Frances Washington, Peggy Toles and Kathy McAllister; special uncle Paul Stubbs and host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM, calling hours from 1PM-2PM prior to services at Christ Connection Church 6140 Louisville St, Louisville, OH 44641.
