Geraldine L. “Geri” Cardwell

Geraldine L. "Geri" Cardwell, 90, passed away Thursday. She was a life resident of Canton, 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School and was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where she was very active and cooked for the Forever Young. Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Cardwell, sister, Wilma Rice, brother, Harold Eck and nephew, David Rice. Survived by her daughters, Carlene (Dave) Miller and Susan (Gary) Gruccio, son, Douglas (Anita) Cardwell, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces, Cynthia Hull and Christine Rice and a nephew, Rick George. A special thank you to her friend and caregiver, Kathy O'Leslie and Mercy Hospice. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Canton Baptist Temple followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jake Tovissi officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton Baptist Temple or Habitat for Humanity.
