Geraldine (Winzeler) Johnson

Geraldine (Winzeler) Johnson, age 94, died Sunday. She was a life resident of Canton, 1939 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy and attended the University of Missouri. Geraldine was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church, the Canton Woman's Club and the Canton Art Institute. Preceded in death by her husband, Hartley W. Johnson. Survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Jerry) Moyers of North Canton, son, Todd Johnson of Columbus, five granddaughters, Erin, Abbey, Caroline and Mollie McGaughey and Heather Johnson and a sister, Betty (Bob) O'Brien of North Canton. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Saint Peter Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital or Boys Town.
