Gertrude C. Jester

Gertrude C. Jester, age 59, died Sunday. Born in Cleveland she had lived in Wayne County and then Stark County the last 14 years. Gertrude was a crafter, quilter, enjoyed life and was a loving Matriarch to her family. Survived by her husband, Paul, daughters, Evalin (Thomas) Teske and Sherry (Chad) Brezina-Shaw, sons, Harold (Debra) Jester and David (Nicole Ellington) Jester, grandchildren, Harold, Chris and Amanda Jester, Daniel Dragga, Sabrina Teske, Richard Clawson, Tyler Brezina, Kynan Gue, Benjamin II and Blake Ellington and Hannah Jester, great-grandchildren, Melody Jester and Alexis, Alania and Angel Dragga. Preceded in death by her first husband, Harold R. Jester, son, John Jester and mother, Gertrude Hurst. Friends may call Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Indian Run Christian Church in East Canton followed by a service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Terry Bailey officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lamiell Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
