Helen T. St. George

Helen T. St. George, age 96, died Saturday. Born in Alliance she had lived in Canton most of her life and was a 1940 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. Helen was a member of Christ the Servant Parish, The American Hungarian Club in Akron and the Post Office Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, John St. George Jr, daughter, Julianne Schneider, parents, Dennis and Julia Urban, sister, Margaret Harvath and brother, Louis Urban. Survived by daughters, Marianne Soptelean and Rebecca (Judson) Zernechel all of Canton, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Calvary Cemetery followed by burial. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ the Servant Parish.
