Inez I. Brown

Inez I. Brown Age 97, of Canton, passed away Friday April 13, 2018. She was born July 2, 1920 in Sagamore, PA, a daughter of the late David and Ina (Lukehart) Clemens, and had been a Canton resident since 1958. Inez was a 1938 graduate of Cowanshannock, PA High School. She had worked at the J. C. Penny Co. before they opened helping with the stocking and continued on in the stock room. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Besides her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Melvin E. Brown, on May 6, 2015, three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Stock, of Stone Mountain, GA, and Vanessa (Steven) Locicero, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald (Mary) Clements. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Interment will be in Warstler Cemetery.
